CRIB-Mission We want to: 1. make a relevant contribution to the continuous improvement of the treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases at the USB and worldwide 2. Inspire young physicians to pursue clinical research and possibly an academic career at the USB and the University of Basel and support them sustainably on their path as physician scientists 3. produce outstanding research findings that are published in the leading journals and are so significant that they are incorporated into the relevant ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines 4. Further intensify personnel and structural networking between the CRIB, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, the Clinic for Internal Medicine and the Emergency Center 5. Further intensify personnel and structural networking between the CRIB, the DKF, the DBM, and other research groups at the USB and the University of Basel
