Background:
PERFORM-TSIX
is
a
multicenter,
international
diagnostic
study
to
evaluate
the
diagnostic
value
of
Roche's
sixth
generation
high-sensitivity troponin assay.
Patients
presenting
to
the
emergency
department
of
the
University
Hospital
Basel
with
chest
pain
or
suspected
acute
coronary
syndrome
will
be
included.
Blood
samples
are
taken
at
entry,
after
1,
2,
3
and
6
hours.
After
30
and
180
days,
the study participants are contacted for a follow-up.
The study duration is planned for the period from 09.2022 to 10.2023
